Soccer in America doesn't look like America (at least not on the girls side) so in my hometown of Rockville Centre, the RVC Soccer Club and Martin Luther King Center teamed up to drive interest for soccer among the youth of color in our community. These children are all so coachable and ethusiastic and we love coaching them in a sport that has benefited us so much. It's not okay that some children do not have the same access to sports based on their ethnicity or socio-economic backgrounds.
